Our walks offer a fun and informal way for single people to make new friends while exploring various parts of Cornwall, including places never seen from a car. Walks take from 2 to 3 hours and normally end with an optional lunch at a pub, hotel or cafe. Because of Covid restrictions, we are currently having picnic lunches after our walks. So, bring your own picnic, and we will find somewhere suitable for us all to gather for lunch.
Thanks for Jim for leding the walk today.
Thanks to Geoff for the photos from the walk.

Our next walk, on 24th July, will be at St Ervan, near Padstow. Those who are on our mailing list will have an email inviting bookings for this walk.
If you’re not yet on our list and are interested in joining us, please email [email protected], and we will add you to our mailing list.
Please note: we are not able at the moment to take telephone bookings.
SOME OF OUR PLANNED FUTURE WALKS
St Clements/Pencalenick (near Truro)
And for the Autumn:
Luxulyan ... and many more.
Hopefully, if there are no major problems with the current easing of restrictions, we will soon be able to get back to some sort of normality. It will be wonderful when we can safely get back to being more flexible about the number of walkers. The other thing that I think we all miss is the pub lunch after a walk. It tastes so good ... and is totally justified after going for a walk – those calories have already been burned.
GENERAL WALK DETAILS
We will be limiting the number of walkers for a while. This is to ensure that everyone is able to keep socially distanced. When a walk is advertised, you will need to book a place. This will be strictly adhered to.
Because of possible problems with finding suitable lunch venues, our first few walks will include bring-your-own picnic lunches. We will review the situation when pubs and cafes are able to fully open without restrictions on numbers.
As we will not be meeting in a pub/cafe car park, we will attempt to start walks from a location with a nearby toilet. If this is not possible, we will indicate the nearest supermarket or other public toilet on the way to the meeting place.
Please bear with us – this is to keep everyone as safe as possible. Hopefully by July we will get back to normal walks.
Cost per walk: £2 (cash only)
