Want to meet new friends, see new places, have fun and stay fit?
Our gentle walks offer a fun and very informal way for single people to make new friends while exploring every corner of Cornwall, including places never seen from the car. Strolls take 2 to 3 hours max and end with optional lunch at a carefully selected pub, hotel or café.

Meet at The Star Inn, St Erth, TR27 6HP
Exit the A30 at St Erth Station (signposted St Erth Park and Ride). Follow the road past the station for approximately 3/4 mile to a T-junction and turn left. Continue for 1/4 mile over the stone bridge and where the road bends left go straight ahead up the hill.
The Star Inn is about 150 yards on the right, and the car park is just past the pub.
Toilets will be available before the walk.
A note from Marianne:
This walk is about 4.5 miles long and is a slight variation of a walk we did last year. At that time there was some sleety snow, and I remember that we huddled in the church entrance to keep dry before the walk. I am hoping for better things this year.
The walk is dog friendly, with only a few Cornish stone stiles. There are a couple of uphills, but on a good walking surface. When we walked the route yesterday there was a little mud in places, but not nearly as much as we expected after the amount of recent rain.
We will be having lunch at The Star Inn, which is under new management and has started serving food again. We ate here yesterday, and the food was excellent.
The pub is dog friendly and even provides doggy towels to wipe muddy paws.
Please arrive in time to pre-order lunch. Hope to see you on Saturday.
